(Mahte 17: 14-20)
Ya shawa masha ni hpang de wa du ma yang, masha

mu ai. Yesu htan nna Makam masham n rawng ai hte nhtan shai ai amyu e, ngai
nanhte hte rau gara ten du hkra nga nga lu na rai ta? Gara ten du hkra, nanhte
hpe sharang nga lu na rai ta? ngai hpang de shi hpe woi sa marit, ngu wu ai. Shaloi
Yesu shi hpe daru kau wu ai rai nna, dai nat gaw shi kaw na pru mat wa ai; dai
ahkying kaw nna dai ma gaw mai mat lu ai. Dai hpang sape ni hkrai sha Yesu
hpang de sit sa wa nna, Anhte gaw dai nat hpe hpa majaw n shaden kau lu gaw ta?

ngai teng teng tsun made ai gaw; Kam sham ai myit chyinghkrang tum daram nanhte
rawng nga myit yang gaw, ndai bum hpe, Wora de htawt sit mat u, ngu nna nanhte
tsun mu yang, dai htawt sit mat na ra ai: nanhte n di lu na amu hpa mung n nga
na re ai, ngu nna shanhte hpe tsun mu ai.

A man came up to Jesus, knelt down before him,
and said, "Lord, have pity on my son, who is a lunatic and suffers severely; often
he falls into fire, and often into water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him." Jesus said in reply, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long will I
be with you? How long will I endure you? Bring the boy here to me." Jesus rebuked him and the demon came out of
him, and from that hour the boy was cured. Then the disciples approached Jesus
in private and said, "Why could we not drive it out?" He said to
them, "Because of your little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith
the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to
there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
