(Mahte 25: 1-13)

Yesu, shi a kasa ni hpe ndai ga shadawn tsun mu ai gaw, dai shaloi e sumsing lamu a mungdan gaw, tinang a pyengdin lang nna, la nnan hpe hkap bawp la na pru sa wa ai mahkawn shi hte bung na ra ai. Shanhte hta na manga gaw myit n su ma ai; manga mahtang gaw, myit su nga ma ai. Kaning rai nme law, myit n su ai ni shanhte a pyengdin lang ma yang tinang a matu sau n lang ma ai: myit su ai ni mahtang, tinang a pyengdin hte rau, tau ni hta, sau mung lang nga ma ai. Ya la nnan gaw naw la nga ai majaw, shanhte nlang yup shamawi rai nna yup pyaw nga ma ai. Yup tung hpawa e chyawm gaw, Yu mu, la nnan wa du ra ai! shi hpe hkap bawp la na pru mu, nga nna garu nga ai. Shaloi jang dai mahkawn ni nlang rawt nna, tinang a pyengdin hpe lajang ma ai. Myit n su ai ni mahtang, Anhte a pyengdin si mat wa ai majaw, nanhte a sau hta na garan jaw mi, ngu nna myit su ai ni hpe hpyi mu ai. Myit su ai ni mahtang htan nna, Anhte hte nanhte a matu n law dam nhten: dut ai ni kaw sa nna, nanhte a matu mari la na grau mai ai, ngu mu ai. Shanhte mari la na sa wa ai laman e, la nnan sa du wa ai hte, chyip chyip rai nga ai ni gaw, hkungran ai poi de shi hte rau shang lu ma ai rai nna, dai chyinghka la nga la ai. Dai hpang mahkawn kaga ni mung du nna, Madu e, Madu e, anhte hpe hpaw la mi, ngu nna hpyi mu ai. Shi mahtang htan nna, Nanhte hpe ngai teng teng tsun made ga, ngai nanhte hpe n chye made ai, ngu wu ai. Jesus told his disciples this parable: "The Kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps.  Since the bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. At midnight, there was a cry, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!' Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'  But the wise ones replied, 'No, for there may not be enough for us and you. Go instead to the merchants and buy some for yourselves.'  While they went off to buy it, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went into the wedding feast with him. Then the door was locked. Afterwards the other virgins came and said, 'Lord, Lord, open the door for us!' But he said in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, I do not know you.' Therefore, stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour."
