(Luke 8: 19-21)
Dai shaloi, Yesu a kanu hte kanau ni shi kaw du
sa ma ai rai nna, shawa hpawng chyat nga ai majaw, shi hpang de n sit shang lu
ma ai. Shaloi shi hpe, Na nnu hte nnau ni nang hpe hkrum mayu nna, shinggan e
tsap nga ma ai, ngu nna tsun ya mu ai. Shi gaw shanhte hpe, Karai Kasang a
mungga madat la nna hkan galaw ai ni gaw, ngai nu, ngai nau ni rai nga ma ai,
ngu nna htan mu ai.

The mother of Jesus and his brothers came to
him but were unable to join him because of the crowd. He was told, "Your
mother and your brothers are standing outside and they wish to see you." He
said to them in reply, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the
word of God and act on it."
